Vintage Dyed seashells
(We ship seashells and sealife to USA destinations only)
One of our long-time customers told us that they have experienced cases in the past when the color in dyed shells would run when they applied glue. We tested 8 of the shells below, all different colors, in three ways: (1) soaking them in water; (2) applying Aileen's Tacky Glue (water based); and (3) applying Beacon 527 glue. The only time a shell bled color was when 527 was applied. The color of that shell was "French Violet".
